General Information
4WD DRIVING ON THE BEACH – TAREE COUNCIL REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE A PERMIT – POSSIBLE $500.00 FINE.
BEACH PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE FROM RECEPTION.
Visitors: Your visitors are welcome but they must first register at the office. Registered guests are also responsible for their visitor’s behaviour. All day visitors must leave the park by 10pm – otherwise they must be booked in and paid for at Reception by 6pm.
Dishwashing Facilities: Do not use the laundry for dishwashing. There is a camp kitchen in the park.
Bike Safety: Did you know that normal road rules apply to the roads throughout our Park? This means that you must wear a helmet at all times, you must stop at intersections and you must give way to cars and pedestrians. No riding of bikes, skateboards or scooters after dark.
WARNING – LIVING WITH TREES: Trees are living things and have a natural life span. All care is taken with regular maintenance by a licensed arborists. However we accept no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by falling limbs or trees.
RISK WARNING: The management wishes to warn occupants, guests and other persons who engage in any recreational activity, within the meaning of the Civil Liability Act 2002 in, on or near the park, that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or personal injury. All persons who engage in a recreational activity do so at their own risk.
Reception Hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm daily. Please have you gas bottles filled before 4pm.
Check Out Time: 10.00 am - Late checkout only by prior arrangement with management if available.
After hours emergency: Please use the Night Bell located on the side office wall or phone the park number 02 6556 1228. This will be answered 24HRS.
Quiet Time: 10.00 pm to 7.00am – with the exception of New Year’s Eve which is 12.30am to 7am. We promise a good nights rest to everyone, therefore after 10pm please make sure there is no noise from your site. This also applies to early rises (usually children), please ask them to be quiet as most people enjoy a well earned sleep-in whilst on holidays.
Boom Gates: The NUMBER is for YOUR vehicle only. Do not tailgate another vehicle through the gates – you must register your entry & exit for gates to work.
Amenities: Are located at the Northern & Southern end of park and are open 24hours for your convenience. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult & be supervised at all times. Please consider others when using these amenities by leaving them in a clean & tidy condition.
Amenities Cleaning: the amenities will be closed for cleaning during the night and again during the afternoon, check the notice for details of the times. We try to keep to these hours but this can change due to demand. Please be patient at these times.
Laundry: These are located at Northern & Southern amenities blocks. Change, laundry powder & irons are available from reception. Please leave clean after use.
Speed Limit: Walking pace throughout the park 10kph – we love our children.
Garbage Collection: All campers have been given a large black garbage bag on arrival – the tractor will make a daily garbage round from 8.30am – please place your rubbish in the bin at the rear of the tractor and the guys will give you a new bag. There are also bins located outside the amenities block for excess garbage.
*Guests in cabins please place bag outside cabin by 10.00am.
Pool: Pool Hours are 9am to sunset – Please be aware that there is no lifeguard on duty. Children especially must be supervised at all time in this area. The pool is for the use of park guests and their paying visitors only. No food, drinks or alcohol are allowed in the pool area.
Pets: Sorry no pets.
Smoke Free: All Harrington Beach Holiday Park buildings are SMOKE FREE including the amenities, laundries, the pool and the playground areas.
PLASTIC COVERS, TARPS, CARPETS OR MATS OUTSIDE TENTS, CAMPERS OR CARAVANS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON ANY SITE – SHADE CLOTH OR SIMILAR IS VERY WELCOME.
